Help! I wasn’t able to access PubMed from off campus

Answer

PubMed is a free resource from the National Library of Medicine, and should be available to everyone with a web browser.  Unfortunately, we are not able to help with access issues in the rare circumstance that the NLM's website is unavailable.

The library does have a customized URL to PubMed that connects you to our journal subscriptions and interlibrary loan services. Which is why we recommend you use the special URL from the library to connect to this resource.

It's always a good idea to clear out your web browser’s cache and cookies - this can solve many odd access problems. If you have cleared your cache but are still having problems accessing PubMed, please let us know, including the steps you are taking to get to PubMed as well as information on any error messages you might be seeing.
